As Education Coach at Primrose Lantana, your dedication to the success of our next generation will ensure we deliver on our mission of bringing the best and most trusted early childhood education and care to the families we serve.
Our leadership team-Anita, Shannon, & Katie- is a hard working, collaborative & fun group! Franchise Owners, Frank and Erin, are onsite each day and involved with all the day to day operations. Our classrooms have 2 or 3 co-teachers depending on classroom size, and we all take responsibility for ensuring a healthy learning environment for children. Our teachers are dedicated and work hard and prefer a fun and drama-free workplace.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates with teachers to ensure all aspects of the Primrose Balanced Learning Curriculum are implemented
- Observe, model, provide feedback and debrief with teachers
- Works with teachers to identify strengths and develop plans for continual improvement
- Maintain inventory and classroom supplies
- Support the student assessment process, including parent conferences
- Work with Director to facilitate staff recognition
- Assist with onboarding new staff and continual training for all staff
- Serve as a driver for our 14 passenger bus (no commercial license required)
- Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe
- Provide superior customer service to staff members, students and families
- Observes all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
- Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field, or CDA and/or at least one year's work experience in a licensed child care facility, kindergarten or early childhood program preferred
- Must be able to work a weekly rotating schedule with other Leadership Team members (work an 8 hour day between the hours of 6:15 am - 7 pm)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good listening and follow up skills, and able to provide constructive feedback
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
