Job Summary

Are you a seasoned relationship builder with a passion for serving in ministry through strategic insurance solutions? GuideStone is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager, Insurance to join our mission-driven team. This hybrid role is based in Dallas, with two in-office days per week and approximately 40% travel.

GuideStone serves Southern Baptist and like-minded ministry organizations by providing employee benefits, insurance, retirement plans, and property and casualty solutions tailored to the unique needs of churches, ministries, and faith-based institutions. Our mission is to enhance financial security and resilience for those who serve the Lord.

At GuideStone, this role is titled as Senior Relationship Manager as our focus is on relationship-driven customer service. You'll will lead strategic account management and growth initiatives for a portfolio of ministry clients. You'll develop and execute marketing plans, deliver consultative insurance solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor to ministry leaders. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong sales acumen, and a heart for ministry service.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing and retention plans for assigned clients.

  • Manage renewals and proactively identify opportunities for product expansion.

  • Deliver compelling presentations on GuideStone's insurance offerings and value.

  • Maintain accurate client records and reporting data.

  • Serve as the primary representative at conventions, conferences, and client meetings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote GuideStone's full suite of solutions, including retirement and property & casualty products.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of insurance account management experience required; preferably in group benefits

  • Texas Insurance License required; CEBS, FLMI, CLU preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of ACA, non-ERISA plans, and church-based insurance regulations preferred.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Southern Baptist Church membership preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, funding options, and tax regulations.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
