Job Description

Job Summary:
Mercedes Benz of North Haven is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our used car team. As a used car service technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry located in North Haven, Connecticut.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Diagnose issues and recommend necessary repairs to customers
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues and make necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures
- Continuously learn about new automotive technology and repair techniques

Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an automotive technician (specific experience with Mercedes Benz vehicles is a plus)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have own set of tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
