Position Overview
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is hiring a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of Indiana’s state-operated hospitals. This senior-level role involves leading therapy services, developing patient-specific treatment plans, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. You'll play a vital role in enhancing patient independence and quality of life through adaptive interventions and therapeutic innovation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and establish tailored treatment goals
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions in alignment with clinical and IEP objectives
- Train and mentor support staff in OT protocols and adaptive strategies
- Modify therapeutic equipment such as splints, utensils, or mobility aids to fit individual patient needs
- Track and document therapy progress, updating treatment plans as needed
- Engage in collaborative care planning with interdisciplinary treatment teams

Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensure: Active Indiana OT license & NBCOT certification
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in occupational therapy, including experience in leadership or supervisory roles
- Previous hospital or behavioral health setting preferred
- Technical Expertise:
- IEP alignment, adaptive equipment customization, therapeutic program planning, and detailed documentation
- Soft Skills:
- Leadership, mentorship, collaboration, flexibility, and excellent communication
