Job Description
Required Skills:
- This position requires 15+ years of recent general systems engineering / combat system experience gained while on active duty surface combatants or amphibious ships.
- Successful candidates must possess strong Combat Systems and Weapons Systems knowledge and be familiar with shipboard topside configurations and weapons systems.
- Former Navy senior enlisted Gunner’s Mate (GM), Ordnance Technician (Surface – 616X, 716X), Fire Controlman (FC), or related specialty a plus.
- Two (2) years experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Tertiary education in mechanical engineering, software engineering or other related technology programs would be a plus.
- Experience using AutoCAD and modeling software is highly desired.
- Successful candidates must have also demonstrated ability to perform analysis and problem solving techniques necessary to execute professional scientific/engineering work.
