Summary :
** for our retail pharmacy service line **The Manager, Retail Pharmacy Operations, in partnership with the Director Retail Pharmacy, oversees all aspects of retail pharmacy operations including clinical, distributive, regulatory, front end sales, financial, quality, and 340B. Is responsible for cultivating interdisciplinary synergistic relationships with key stakeholders to drive program growth, optimization, collaboration, and compliance. The Manager, Retail Pharmacy Operations is an integral role of the pharmacy leadership team, displaying adaptive leadership skills, ensuring successful retail pharmacy operations.

Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects congruent with regulatory agencies (FDA, DEA, BOP, OIG, etc.)
Navigate employees through HR lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, development, termination)
Ensure financial viability and growth (evaluating contracts, maximizing rebates, ensure licensing to promote GPO utilization vs WAC, minimizing DIR fees)
Develop and maintain overall labor plan (productivity measures, staff), meeting business needs and productivity
Navigates all pharmacy audits (insurance, state, federal agencies), intervening to mitigate audit findings in daily practice.
Develop and implement service line standard operating procedures
Develop and implement training modules for both internal and regulatory requirements
Represent service line in committees and meetings, actively promoting department practice and collaboration.
Promotes culture of safety and continuous quality improvement by identifying safety, quality and improvement opportunities.
Ensure opportunities are identified, communicated on, addressed, and improved.
Execute system initiatives related to direct patient care, standard operating procedures, formulary management, and transitions of care partnership.
Strategic service line goal setting, intervening as appropriate to ensure goals are on track, and team is knowledgeable and accountable for respective goals.
Participates in leader-on-call rotation and performs staffing duties as necessary to ensure consistent operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
Preferred 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership responsibility within Retail Pharmacy environment.
340B Apexus Certified Expert
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certified Immunizer
State of Wisconsin pharmacist Licensure
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the hospital campus
Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers
Travel up to 75%, non-international, within service region
Position requires compliance with department specific competencies.
