Salary Range: Min $44.46 Mid $45.80 Max $47.13

GENERAL SUMMARY: Completes medically prescribed Occupational Therapy assessment, plans and implements treatment program, and reasseses patient status as indicated to restore function and/ or maximize ability following disease or disability. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Skills Required: 1. BS or MS in Occupational Therapy from an accredited instutution. 2. Valid and current New York State Occupational Therapy license and registration with the National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy. 3. Ability to physically treat an average of 12 inpatients or 15 outpatients per day and complete accurate and legible documentation as per established guidelines. 4. Ablity to qualitatively evaluate and treat all age groups and diagnostic categories in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. 5. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and caretakers regarding anticipated Occupational Therapy treatment plan, level of expected patient participation, and expected outcome. 6. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and the Medical/CVPH staff as a member of the Rehabilitation team. 7. Travel to off-site clinics / locations may be required. As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
