Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Assisted Living Facility
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year
Location: Suffolk, Virginia
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic support within assisted living facilities across Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, motivated PTA to work with a steady patient population in a low-stress, relationship-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and other skilled interventions.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting residents' progress.
- Help educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercises and safety techniques.
- Work collaboratively with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health and independence.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Virginia PTA license (or ability to obtain).
- Experience in geriatrics or senior living preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for improving lives.
