About the Role: Facilities Technician
As a Facilities Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Brio in Johnston.
As a Facilities Technician, you will:
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general repairs - prior experience in building trades or maintenance required
- Make a meaningful impact by helping maintain safe, comfortable, and welcoming environments for residents, staff, and visitors - including support for community services like Meals on Wheels.
- Work on diverse tasks including property repairs, equipment maintenance, snow removal, and floor care
- Contribute to a proactive team completing preventative maintenance and resident work orders that keep the community running smoothly.
- Help manage supplies and organized stockrooms while assisting with departmental ordering and delivery

Qualifications:
- Education in building maintenance
- Possesses knowledge of building/grounds and maintenance practices and procedures.
- Familiar with the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing building/grounds and maintenance functions for long-term care facilities
