Job Description
We are looking for a Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) Manager to handle the implementation, related systems, compliance, audits, and action outcomes for our distribution facility in Piscataway, NJ. Your Role
You will support the implementation, ongoing maintenance of, and compliance with the QSHE-related systems at the site. We will count on your expertise to ensure our site is compliant with company and regulatory quality and safety standards, that employees are well-trained in QSHE matters, and that we provide best-in-class experiences for our customer.
Your Responsibilities
- Implementation and ongoing maintenance of all areas of the QSHE Management System within the branch operations
- Subject matter expertise for Quality, Safety Health, Environment, and Security (and DG) matters within the branch
- The hosting of audits by Clients, Customers, third parties or Government agencies
- Coordinate and support KN's KPIs and Metrics with Client
- Maintain QSHE Training Matrix and plan training records and certificates
- Coach local management to reach, maintain and continuously improve QSHE standards within the site
- Provide and ensure Safety and Health Training for all employees such as bringing awareness, Hazard Certifications, training on hazardous materials, and dangerous goods
- Investigate and report to National QSHE all incidents relating to injuries, property damage, and near misses
- Conduct weekly / monthly / quarterly safety inspections as required by the National QSHE requirements are performed and findings are documented
- Manage and perform annual Safety Drills (Evacuation, Seek-shelter) for each shift
- Maintain local ID Badge Program for new hires and terminations
- Maintain Alarm/Security records including regular maintenance reports
Your Skills and Experiences
- Highschool diploma, Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years in a warehousing or 3PL environment
- 3-5 years of safety experience in a warehousing or 3PL environment
- 2-3 years of experience investigating and reporting incidents and implementing CAPA
- 2 years of experience of SOP development and providing training
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, workplace hazards, and associated controls

The target salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $75,000 Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
