Role summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Banking Operations Associate to be at the forefront of supporting core activities that keep our global transfers running smoothly. The role is a unique blend of both daily operational execution and relationship management. The ideal candidate must be exceptionally detail oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
What you'll do:
- Daily handling of processing global bank transfers to our customers
- Local point of contact for managing relationships with partner banks & providers, including daily communication via email and phone
- Processing and monitoring our global bank payments and transactions with banks and providers aiming at avoiding any kind of delay/error - statuses, volumes, duplicates, rates, fees, technical issues, etc.
- Execute workflows with speed and accuracy and providing insights and suggestions on improvements and optimizations of our various workflows
- Supporting internal and external customers regarding the Global Bank Transfer product
- Owning and maintaining ongoing communication cadence with internal and external banking relationship contacts
- Actively engage with cross-functional partners to resolve issues, identify trends, and find creative solutions using technology and opportunities for automation
Who you are:
- 2+ years of experience in the Banks/FX industry
- Bachelors Degree
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
- Professional experience working with SQL preferred
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, organizing effectively and asking the right questions
- Ability and willingness to "get your hands dirty" and take ownership of issues to drive them to resolution
- Excellent written and verbal internal and external communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work with many systems and different global teams within the company
- Curious and creative thinker, proactive, problem solver
- Strong communication and customer service skills

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
The annual base salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $90,000.
