About the role
Ensures regulatory compliance is maintained within the bank by monitoring, researching and communicating changes to regulations and providing a synopsis of changes to leadership and staff.
What you will do
- Conducts reviews on business functions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains working knowledge of deposit regulations, including Reg CC and DD, to perform reviews.
- Assists in developing guidelines regarding BSA/AML Compliance.
- Reviews and completes BSA/AML tasks, including research and completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and working BSA software alerts.
- Identifies areas of non-compliance and risk exposure and makes appropriate recommendations.
- Communicates review findings to appropriate management and staff.
- Maintains a strong working knowledge of regulations, industry trends and best practices.
- Provides recommendations as non-compliant items are identified and assists with updating policies and procedures by reporting issues to the head of compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need
- Associate's degree in related field preferred.
- 2 - 4 years of banking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
