In Amazing Athletes, EVERY kid is an athlete! We empower kids through sport by teaching them how to have fun while learning the fundamentals. We are actively hiring energetic, outgoing mobile coaches and assistant coaches for part-time positions. Join our team to teach sports and fitness classes at local schools and daycares. This is a part-time role with potential for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sports and fitness classes for children, ages 2-12, using our structured curriculum.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and safe learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, children, and school staff.
- Set up and manage class equipment, ensuring the safety of all participants.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report any issues promptly.
- Wear the approved uniform and present a professional image at all times.
Requirements:
- Energetic, positive attitude with a passion for working with children.
- Experience with young children (ages 18 months-12 years) is preferred, but not required.
- Athletic background (either as a participant or coach) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between program sites.
- Flexible schedule with availability for weekday mornings and/or afternoons.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and engage in physical activity.
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to program policies and procedures.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in a classroom setting.
- Willingness to complete all required training and paperwork in a timely manner.
