Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Source, attract, and hire top talent through job boards, social media, networking, and cold outreach
  • Manage applicant tracking systems and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and advise on candidate fit
  • Coordinate and conduct pre-employment screening and interviews
  • Represent the company at hiring events and industry meetups
  • Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve recruiting strategies
  • Conduct internal recruitment and lead generation for hard-to-fill roles

Human Resources Support

  • Oversee onboarding processes, including new hire orientation
  • Administer HR documentation, maintain employee records, and process HR paperwork
  • Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with employment laws and data protection regulations
  • Create HR forms, documents, and assist with process development
  • Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and events
  • Backup other HR team members, support various HR projects, and contribute to department goals
  • Support the implementation of new HR and recruiting technologies
  • Occasionally travel to company locations or job sites

 

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • At least 3 years of recruiting experience, including full-cycle hiring
  • 1–2 years onboarding or new hire processing experience
  • 2–5 years working in an HRIS system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
  • Demonstrates integrity, sound judgment, and maintains confidentiality
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the role
  • Light to moderate lifting required; must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Background check required
