Job Description

Requirements:   ServSafe Level Two certification in food protection, an Associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in a healthcare related field and one to three years previous experience in food management required. Preferred certified dietary manager certification, bachelor or master degree in nutrition or dietetics, supervisory experience in a healthcare facility, current dietitian license in the State of Ohio and Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. 

Responsibilities:  The Nutrition Services Manager's duties are to plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the Nutrition Services Department and Clinical Nutrition Services Department and to provide Nutrition Services for patients, visitors, and employees.  Establishes and revises policies and procedures for the departments, assists in purchasing/budgeting, and supervises department personnel.   Conducts community nutrition education programs, as well as serves on various committees within the hospital and throughout the community.
