Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Installer and/or Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installation and repair. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including residential and commercial units.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, using a variety of diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, checking electrical connections, and inspecting system components.
- Conduct energy audits and provide recommendations for improving system efficiency.
- Build and weld custom ductwork, as needed.
- Plumb and connect refrigerant lines to ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems.
- Operate a van for field service calls, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform appliance repairs, including HVAC equipment, as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Meet safety and quality standards, adhering to all relevant regulations and codes.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge, including plumbing and electrical connections.
- Ability to weld and build custom ductwork.
- Experience with appliance repair, including HVAC equipment.
- Valid van driver's license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Experience with field service calls and customer service.
- Adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
