Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of Paramedic training.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School, Completion of a State Approved Paramedic Program as evidenced by primary source of verification.
Licensure: Current valid drivers license, current Georgia certification, ACLS, BLS, and CPR required
Experience: Previous experience desirable.
Skills : Demonstrates proficiency in patient care skills for scope of training. A working knowledge of basic computer applications.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather. Ability to prioritize work assignments. Must display motor coordination, manual dexterity and physical condition, to lift, carry, extricate, and administer care to patients, possess both near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle (day or night). Corrective lenses permitted.
