Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Remote)

Loot Labs is seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing high-quality, user-centric web applications using a modern technology stack. This role involves collaborating closely with our design and backend teams to create seamless and efficient user experiences. We are also especially interested in candidates with a passion for gaming and collectibles!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, GraphQL, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into functional and dynamic web interfaces.
• Integrate with backend services and APIs using GraphQL.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best software development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the frontend codebase.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with Next.js or React
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, specifically with Next.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with GraphQL and state management libraries.
• Proficient in Tailwind CSS and responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
