Job Description
Location: Torrance, CA (Day/Night Shifts Available)
Type: Part-time/Full-time
Compensation: $20/hr with opportunity for advancement
We are currently seeking dedicated and vigilant security guards to join our team, providing top-tier security services for a corporate client servicing governmental agencies. This role is specifically reserved for honorably discharged U.S. Veterans, reflecting our commitment to supporting those who have served our country.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a security guard
- Unarmed position
- Must be an honorably discharged U.S. Veteran
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check, including driver and criminal records
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time in Torrance, CA, with availability for day or night shifts
- Must possess a reliable vehicle
- Demonstrable seriousness and sharpness in professional demeanor
- Previous employment history will be thoroughly verified
- Security clearance is highly desirable but not mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Ensure the security of all personnel and visitors on the site
- Report any suspicious activities to law enforcement when necessary
- Conduct regular patrols of the property
- Enforce property rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all occupants
- Access Control (Bage check)
