Accounting Software Consultant

McLeod Software is searching for someone to help us provide accounting support, training, and consultation in the setup and use of McLeod Software’s accounting modules while maintaining a high level of customer interaction and satisfaction.

The Accounting Software Consultant will play a key role in resolving accounting-related software issues, delivering customer training, managing documentation, supporting internal teams, and contributing to enhancements in our accounting products.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

• Provide training during new customer implementations on McLeod’s accounting modules
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting support issues
• Deliver timely follow-ups and recap reports from customer accounting calls
• Conduct training via conference calls, webinars, and occasional classroom sessions
• Maintain internal and external accounting documentation
• Recommend improvements and new features for McLeod’s accounting modules
• Provide internal training and support to McLeod staff on the accounting module usage
• Manage custom accounting-related projects, such as general ledger modifications

What You’ll Need (Requirements):

• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or accounting support, required.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, required.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, required.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed documentation, required.
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Dynamics GP and/or QuickBooks, required.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• CPA certification, preferred.
