Job Description

Position Summary:

Dietzler Construction Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Lead to join our dynamic civil construction team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our projects, with a particular focus on developing opportunities in the private sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the civil construction industry, aggregates sales and/or estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the private sector for civil construction projects.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with private clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential private sector clients.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategies.

  • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate and competitive project bids.

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities.

  • Address client concerns and provide solutions to enhance client relationships.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 7- 10 years of experience in business development within the civil construction or aggregates industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing large-scale construction projects in the private sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in business development and CRM software.
  • Experience with estimating and quality control methods a plus.

Salary $95K -125K
