Job Description
Duties: Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs and make necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes. Ensure effective communication between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Schedule and maintain schedule for all Nursing staff, be on-call in case of nursing staff does not show for work. Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is a must. Valid state nursing license. Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or similar leadership role. In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
