Job Description:
This position will work directly with the Case Management and Social Services team to provide support services to assist with the timely discharge/transfer of patients from the hospital by providing clerical support. This position will be under the supervision of the Manager of Case Management.
Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Program Preferred
Experience:
- 2 years Experience in Healthcare- Acute Inpatient or Healthcare- Ambulatory Required
Certifications/Licensures:
- BLS Basic Life Support- American Heart Association Required within 90 days of hire and maintained while employed as a CMA
Skills:
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
Ability to learn and navigate Electronic Health Record/EPIC and Allscripts systems.
Work Shift:
08.0 - 08:30 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$33.17 - $44.78
Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
