Position Title: OCC Stations Optimization Post-Grad Emerging Talent Intern
Hourly Rate: $22.00 (Post-Grad)
OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT:
OCC- Stations personnel facilitate interdepartmental notification and response to reported emergency and non-emergency incidents which can include threats to external and internal customers' safety, structural defects, service disruptions etc. This collaboration provides a comprehensive and efficient resolution to incidents as well as clear communication to emergency response personnel, leadership and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Collection and Analysis: collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to improve business decisions and processes.
- Trend Identification: Identify patterns and trends to understand performance, identify areas for improvement, and predict future outcomes.
- Report Generation: Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Use analytical skills to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Collaboration: Working with various teams and departments to understand their needs and contribute to overall business goals.
PROJECTS:
- Develop training Manual for Supervisors & Managers for all CMS
- Conduct Refresher Training
- Review CMS metrics, provide reports statistics
- Create Manual for all OCC- Stations tasks
- As assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
Major(s) Preferred: Business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area.
