Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- To be an Ambassador for Cove Communities and Creekfire at all times by choosing your attitude each day and committing to a culture of service, hospitality, and accountability.
- To treat all internal and external customers with respect, embrace your role as a problem solver who is committed to continual improvement, and exceed guest expectations by living Cove’s Core Values.
- Greets all guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provides a high level of service when assisting customers in ordering and delivering food orders according to established protocols.
- Coordinates and communicates any special dietary requirement of guests to the kitchen.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station.
- Develops and maintain friendly relationship with regular patrons of the restaurant.
- Coordinates with kitchen staff and customers and ensure timely delivery of all services.
- Works to meet revenue goals by establishing and maintaining a complete course of order to customers including salad, drinks and main course.
- Must be efficient in cash handling procedures, and maintain a working knowledge of the POS system and its functions including but not limited to credit card and gift card transactions.
- Makes sure that all daily revenue and server tip reports are reconciled and given to accounting at the end of every day.
- Ensures that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Superior customer service skills; previous serving experience preferred
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds on a regular basis and able to withstand long periods of time on your feet
- Ability to function well at a high pace, sometimes high-stress environment
- Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff
- Nights and weekend work required
