American Road Group is seeking a Shop Driver at Laconia Harley-Davidson in Meredith, NH!
Summary
Aid Sales and Service with delivery and pick up of customer motorcycles.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload motorcycles for delivery.
- Drive motorcycles safely to and/or from their destinations.
- Clean and detail new and pre-owned units when not delivering motorcycles.
- Maintain cleanliness of shop vehicle.
- Assist service department and Shop Porter/Helper when there are no deliveries
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Requires a clean driving record and a motorcycle license.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings.
- Excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to handle requests quickly and courteously.
- Follow directions thoroughly and efficiently.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, sit, stand, push and pull.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Requires use of both hands.
- Requires the ability to balance and push a 600+ lb. motorcycle.
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other materials in shop.
- Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes and other airborne particles.
