UCT is looking for a talented Analyst IV, IT D&A to join us! Data is an important asset for UCT to be able to make informed strategic decision, improve customer service, optimize operations and drive innovation. You'll be responsible to work with the business stakeholders and users to solicit requirements and provide solution options. In addition, this role will work with large amounts of data to solve complex problems and contribute to business strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads data analysis projects from conception to completion.
• Completes the gathering and cleaning processes for data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to more complex statistical analysis.
• Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively.
• Identifies KPIs and develops metrics to track and measure business performance.
• Collaborates with data engineers and IT professionals to optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes.
• Assist in the documentation of data analysis and testing artifacts.
• Monitors data quality to identify data issues and propose data cleansing or enhancement solutions.
• Stays updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Intermediate level in SQL, data profiling, data manipulation techniques, and database querying.
• Intermediate skills in reporting tool such as Power BI, SAP BI.
• Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies, and extract meaningful insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
• Strong communication skills to convey data findings to other team members.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering with Computer Service (or a related field).
• Certified SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and/or SAP Business Objects (BO) is desired.
• Certification in Databricks and/or Power BI is desired.

Experience Requirement: Describe both minimum and preferred years of experience, previous responsibilities, or industry background (e.g. Minimum 2 years of marketing experience. Preferably in manufacturing/semiconductor industry)

• 3-6 years of work experience as a data analyst, data scientist, BI analyst, data engineer or related profession.
• Proven project experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Proven project experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience in Cloud Data Platform such as Databricks.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Kanplan, etc.).
• Good knowledge on SAP S/4 HANA or HANA Modelling plus experience using BODS (Business Object Data Services) and SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server) is desirable.
• Experience in Hi-Tech and/or Semiconductor or manufacturing industry is preferred.
