Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Renovation Construction Foreman to oversee and manage pool renovation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, ensuring quality workmanship, managing schedules, and maintaining safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, construction knowledge, and experience in pool renovation processes, including resurfacing, tile work, plumbing, decking, and equipment installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate pool renovation crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
- Oversee the removal and replacement of pool surfaces, tile, coping, plumbing, and decking.
- Manage the installation and repair of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
- Communicate with clients, project managers, and suppliers to coordinate materials and job site logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pool renovation or related construction fields.
- Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pool construction, renovation techniques, and materials preferred.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and masonry work as it pertains to pools.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with clear 3 year history, minimum.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
