About the team and role:

You would be joining the Seller Experience organization within eBay which is at the heart of the overall eBay marketplace. The Seller Experience team focuses on end-to-end digital experiences for our sellers, making it seamless to list, sell and grow a thriving business with eBay. Our Sellers are at the center of everything we do, and our product, engineering and design teams obsess over building best-in-class experiences that our eBay seller community loves.

This role is part of the Inventory Management product organization within Seller Experience, focusing on developing a simplified and streamlined seller experience to support regulatory compliance requirements. You will play a crucial role in crafting innovative experiences and tools that empowers sellers to align with regulations effortlessly.

What you will accomplish:

• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with global regulatory changes impacting product listings

• Develop an innovative and iterative roadmap and solutions for seller tools that supports regulatory compliance and meets key seller metrics and outcomes

• Collaborate with our regulatory and cross functional teams to align solutions and plans with partners in the core product, design and technology teams as well as within the teams across functions

• Demonstrate a relentless focus to listen to our end-users and feed their voice into our product development process. Leverage design and research partnerships to get insights and feedback throughout the entire product lifecycle. Build processes for continuous improvements

• Create connections and processes across teams that will drive efficient cross-team collaboration and clear alignment

• Create processes and deliver with speed and transparency. Practice a "decide and go" mentality across you and your team to prioritize and propel the product development process forward to hit our targets. Partner closely with Program Management to manage through blockers and communicate dates and achievements

• Work passionately on behalf of our sellers and the relentlessly improve experiences for our sellers, influencing a higher bar on quality and ensuring the seller is always at the center of our product roadmap and priorities

What you will bring:

• 5-7 years of technical product experience in building user facing products, deep expertise in customer focused product management and product development lifecycle. Experience with online marketplaces and eCommerce platforms preferred. Experience in the Compliance and Regulatory space a plus

• Experience leading complex, multi-phase strategic product(s) in parallel with the ability to manage matrix teams in a global context to success delivery and excellence

• Proven ability and in-market examples of managing a product that drove significant impact for millions of end users at a global scale

• Exceptional analytical attitude with a successful track record and specific examples of launching products with measurable impact on a global scale

• Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle from planning through deployment; experience using test and validation frameworks throughout the product lifecycle. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams

• Experience working with design research and qualitative tools to ensure the voice of our seller is at the center of our product development

• Strong, concise communicator and effective story-teller; experience using both analytics and qualitative research to express the vision and strategy of the product

• Technical depth and proven experience with building experiences for UX experience products

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$108,000 - $168,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
