BAMF Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine and/or Diagnostic Radiology Physician to serve in our comprehensive Theranostics Center. As a Physician at BAMF Health, you will have the opportunity to participate in the latest cutting-edge advancements in molecular imaging. Responsibilities include reading PET scans performed on United Imaging’s uExplorer, one of the most advanced PET/CT scanners in existence, and Michigan’s first PET/MR, the uPMR 790. Based on clinical experience, evaluate and manage oncology patients receiving radiopharmaceutical therapy and interpret post therapy SPECT/CT scans performed on the GE Starguide. You will also have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials as Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI, or sub-investigator.

Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Interpretation of PET/CT, PET/MR and SPECT/CT scans – according to Physician’s experience
  • Prescription and supervision of Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (RPT) – according to Physician’s experience
  • Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers
  • Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI, or sub-investigator for clinical trials
  • Authorized user for RPT and molecular imaging clinics
  • Participation in local tumor boards
  • Speaking engagements at medical conferences, physician offices, and/or other venues

Basic Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with Board Certification in Nuclear Medicine and/or Diagnostic Radiology required
  • Actively Licensed MD or DO in the State of Michigan (without encumbrances) required
  • Certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Nuclear Medicine required
  • Authorized User status by Nuclear Regulatory Commission required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of post-residency experience preferred
  • Experienced in delivery of RPT preferred
  • Relevant patient care experience preferred

    Schedule/Compensation Details:

    • Employment Status: Full time (1.0 FTE)
    • Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40
    • Hours of work: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Days worked: Monday to Friday
    • Salary: Combination of base salary and RVU productivity bonus (total potential earnings of up to $600k+)
