VAR Information Technology (IT) Sales Executive (Mid to Enterprise Solutions)
Location: Alpharetta, GA | Hybrid
Division: Managed Services & Cybersecurity (VAR IT)
Reports to: President, MITS Division
Novatech is redefining how businesses experience IT. As we expand our Managed Services & Cybersecurity division, we are hiring a driven VAR IT Sales Executive (Mid to Enterprise Solutions) to lead and grow our IT product sales channel.
This role is ideal for a consultative, results-focused sales professional with experience in solution selling, channel strategy, and OEM / vendor partnerships. You will work with respected vendors including Fortinet, HP, Lenovo, and Dynabook and collaborate with distribution partners such as TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, and D&H to close high-impact deals.
What You’ll Do
- Drive IT hardware and software sales across mid-to-enterprise accounts
- Build relationships with distributors to optimize pricing, secure inventory, and leverage marketing funds
- Develop consultative solutions across security, infrastructure, and endpoint technologies
- Align with OEM reps and participate in vendor programs and campaigns
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers to deliver complete solution proposals
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline updates in Salesforce
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and client success
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of successful IT sales experience, preferably in a VAR or OEM-direct role
- Deep understanding of the IT distribution ecosystem (TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, D&H)
- Proven ability to sell endpoint, infrastructure, and network security solutions
- Strong communication skills and a consultative, relationship-first sales approach
- Self-starter mindset with strong organization and follow-through
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling bundled solutions (hardware + managed services)
- Understanding of vendor programs, MDF funding, and leasing / financing models
- Working knowledge of cloud, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure concepts
Performance Expectations
- $2M–$4M in annual product and licensing sales
- At least 30% of sales generated from net-new business
- Strategic vendor and distributor engagement to drive pipeline and margin growth
