Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Software Implementation & Configuration: Install, configure, and customize APM and data management software solutions including Emerson and AspenTech tools. Ensure seamless integration with customer infrastructure and data sources. Provide post-deployment support and training to end-users.

Dashboard & Report Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports per customer and internal specifications. Apply appropriate access control mechanisms for secure distribution of data insights.

Advanced Data Analysis: Analyze large-scale industrial data sets and identify key patterns, anomalies, and trends.Develop analytical models that provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and reliability.

Customer Engagement & Consulting: Lead customer-facing discussions on Master Data Management (MDM), Asset Framework (AF) hierarchies, and the integration of diverse data systems. Serve as a trusted advisor for clients seeking to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Platform Expertise: Leverage in-depth experience with the following technologies:

  • AVEVA PI System, including PI-AF Element Templates, Dashboards, Analytics, Notifications, and Event Frames
  • AspenTech Solutions, particularly IP.21, Inmation, MTELL, ProMV, and Fedelis
  • SEEQ for advanced analytics and data exploration

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; equivalent professional experience accepted.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software implementation and data analytics in industrial or process automation environments.
  • Demonstrated success with configuring and deploying APM tools and integrating them with OT/IT systems.
  • Strong experience with industrial data historians and real-time analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-facing professionalism.
  • Familiarity with asset performance and reliability concepts in process industries is a plus.

 Skills and Competencies

  • Familiarity with Emerson’s and AspenTech’s software ecosystems
  • Working knowledge of SQL, scripting (e.g., Python), and data modeling
  • Experience in the oil & gas, chemical, or energy sectors
  • Understanding of ISA-95/ISA-88 standards and OT/IT convergence best practices
