Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position will assist the Financial Aid Training and Compliance team with performing quality assurance reviews of college financial aid functions. Other financial aid-associated tasks may be assigned as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generating reports
  • Reviewing student documents
  • Reviewing college documents
  • Compiling compliance data in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Maintaining confidentiality as required by privacy laws, including

FERPA, HEA, and U.S. Tax Code

  • Developing familiarity with financial aid processes and requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need; and
  • Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status; and
  • Maintain a minimum of 1 credit hour of enrollment in an eligible

courses; OR

  • Be enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit hour in the upcoming term
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Google productivity software

Last Date of Employment: 08/03/2025

Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Evaluations are performed at the end of each award year. Federal Work Study employees are considered for pay increases after each full year of employment.
