Fiscal Analyst

HJ Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fiscal Analyst to join the team supporting the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant program. This role is critical in maintaining fiscal compliance, reporting, and analysis within a behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor financial aspects of the grant and related behavioral health funding streams.

• Prepare detailed budget reports, expenditure tracking, and fiscal forecasts.

• Analyze financial data and trends to support program and policy decisions.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state fiscal regulations and reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with program managers to develop and manage budgets and contracts.

• Assist with audits, fiscal monitoring visits, and other grant-related reporting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fiscal analysis, budget development, or grants management.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial management systems.

• Knowledge of public sector or healthcare finance preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or CPA a plus.

• Experience with behavioral health or human services grants.

• Familiarity with federal and state grant compliance procedures.
