Job Description
RN Data Coordinator- Cardiac Cath Lab
56 hrs. Biweekly, 7am- 430pm Monday- Friday
Under the direction of the Clinical Manager of CCL, individual is responsible for coordination of essential data collection and reports to conform to institutional, state and national requirements for compliance of the hospital's Interventional Cardiology program. Also is responsible for planning, developing and overseeing any research studies generated from the cardiovascular patient population in accordance with guidelines established by the Princpal Investigator, the IRB, and participating sponsor(s).
Education- BSN required, Master's degree preferred.
Experience- 5 years acute care experience required, with a working knowledge of cardiac physiology & pathophysiology.
Licensure/Certification- Current Maryland RN licensure, specialty certification preferred (Cardiovascular and/or Critical Care).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Critical thinking, ability to work within databases and spreadsheets, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently as well as with other disciplines within institution and outside agencies.
