Teacher, Math & Science, Middle School (EX) (2025-2026) - St. Louis School, Clarksville MD

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as a Middle School Math & Science Teacher. The teacher will provide the students with a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Math curriculum. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible, and 10-month teaching position.

Essential Functions

• Follows and maintains knowledge of all AOB policies and procedures.
• Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students.
• Plan and execute an instructional program that upholds the values and ideals of the Catholic Church. 
• Create an instructional environment conducive to learning that is appealing and organized.
• Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Safely and actively supervise students both inside and outside of the classroom.
• Expertly integrate G Suite for Education into a 21st-century classroom.
• Meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students in accordance with the
  curriculum. Effective instruction will include differentiated learning.

Position Qualifications

• Degree in math or Education with a math concentration
• MSDE teacher certification in Education for Math, or the desire to obtain this
• Knowledge of curriculum, principles, and practices of pedagogy
• Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons, as well as enriching and differentiating instruction
• Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of a state and federal
  fingerprint background check, completion of VIRTUS Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.

Range: $48,000 - $85,000 Annualized
