CPQ / Revenue Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, configuration, and delivery of Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud solutions. This includes driving discovery workshops, defining scalable architectures, implementing complex pricing and discounting logic, and integrating with ERP, Model N, Windchill and external systems. The role ensures alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and seamless execution across the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. Ideal candidate brings an AI-first mindset, leveraging AI and Agentic AI technologies to enhance quoting accuracy, accelerate deal approvals, ensure compliance, and surface real-time insights across the Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead discovery workshops to gather, define, and document current and future state business processes and functional requirements for CPQ / Revenue Cloud 

  • Develop robust, scalable and flexible solutions through the creation of architectural designs, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts and demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders 

  • Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Process flows, use cases & user stories 

  • Act as the overall solution owner during the implementation phase, ensuring the scope includes opportunities to automate workflows using Agentic AI (e.g., autonomous deal desk agents or compliance assistants). 

  • Prototype AI-driven tools that assist sales and channel teams in evaluating deal margins, predicting design registration success rates, and automating DPA claim validations. 

  • Define and coordinate end-to-end UAT and SIT test cases with a focus on Q2C processes 

  • Support creation of training materials, help documentation, and admin guides to ensure smooth transition to business users 

  • Ensure that requirements align with enterprise standards, audit and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, ASC 606), and support reporting needs. 

  • Implement Design Registration workflows to support distributor / partner-led deal identification, approval, and protection ensuring channel deals follow pre-defined approval paths and pricing rules 

  • Architect advanced CPQ configurations such as product rules, price rules, discount schedules, quote calculation sequences to ensure quoting accuracy and compliance with pricing policies. 

  • Collaborate with middleware teams (Boomi) to define integration patterns for quote-to-cash (Q2C) workflows, ensuring real-time or near-real-time data synchronization with ERP & PLM systems.

Salary Range

The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Solution Architect with direct ownership of large-scale CRM, CPQ, and Revenue Cloud implementations. 

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud, including configuration of pricing rules, product bundles, subscription models, billing/invoicing structures, and revenue recognition. 

  • Strong command of data modeling, master data management, and handling complex datasets within Salesforce and integrated systems. 

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Revenue Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing Salesforce projects using Agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery. 

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills—capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and business leaders. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business value. 

  • M&A or post-merger system integration experience is a plus.
