Medical Records Director (HIM) for NHC Dickson
Don't miss this great opportunity for a Full Time Health Information Management Director with RHIT certification to join our team at NHC Dickson! This position does require RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification and prior ICD-10 CM Coding experience. Under guidance of the Health Information Regional, the Health Information Technician/Practitioner maintains the policies and procedures established for the recordkeeping practices of the center.
Qualifications:
- Health Information Technician
- Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
- Active member of the American health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
- Evidence of maintaining continuing education (CE) requirements of the American Health Information Management Association.
- Must have prior ICD-10 CM Coding experience
- Must have prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience under PDPM
- Must have MDS completion experience
