The NC Service Center Tech Trainee is an entry level position within the organization designed for candidates with little to no professional automotive experience. The NC Service Center Tech Trainee will be responsible for greeting customers, scheduling appointments, training customers, logistics assistant, printing documentation and wiring diagrams for the Install Service Techs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provie support to customers and technicians onsite
  • Receive calls and emails internally and externally providing assistance as needed (90%internal,10%external)
  • Provide administrative support for technician on site scheduling services, printing technical documentation bench preparation of device, etc.
  • Complete vehicle functionality checklists, DMV checklists, and customer training as needed
  • At all times, provide exceptional customer service and the best possible experience when communication with customer and team members
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Enrollment in automotive or electrical certification, license program preferred.
  • Previous experience with the automotive repairs, upgrades etc on personal vehicles; professional experience 2+ years of hands-on experience with 12-volt, reading schematics, and troubleshooting installations.
  • Installation and servicing stereo, alarm, remote start or similar systems are preferred.
  • High quality installation experience, intermediate knowledge of automotive wiring
  • Experience with problem solving and resolving conflict.
