Job Summary:
As a Supply Management Planner, you are responsible for the planning and placing of orders, and/or rescheduling delivery of orders for assigned parts, materials, and supplies pertaining to the drop ship purchases - ensuring quality standards are met and products are purchased at the best value. You are responsible for supporting the 3rd Party supply base and the Supply Management team with purchasing activities.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with the Order Entry team by releasing and managing purchase orders that will ship from suppliers directly to the end consumer and execute daily actions according to department procedures.
- Manage requests from the Sales Team to quote custom products from the approved supply base to meet customer needs while maintaining appropriate product costing.
- Root Cause and problem solve RFI's from the Install team in a timely manner to drive supplier corrective action and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage ship date changes by updating purchase orders and communicating ship date changes to the supplier and Project Coordinators.
- Review all available reports to ensure purchase and sales orders are closed timely and properly in the ERP system and Salesforce.
- Escalate all potential delays and issues that will impact on-time delivery to the Project Management, Project Coordinating, and Install teams.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other procurement-related tasks as needed (cycle counting, inventory adjustments, etc.)
- Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or associate major preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
- NetSuite and Salesforce (or similar) knowledge preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience using purchasing software and manufacturing computer system preferred
