Job Description
Title: Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
Location: In-office M-F, 685 Third Avenue 9th FL, New York, NY 10017.
Travel: The position will also require 20% domestic travel
Employment Type: Full time

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 plus bonus

Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead a team of recruiters and oversee daily recruitment operations, with a focus on optimizing processes, developing sourcing strategies, and scaling talent acquisition initiatives aligned with DocGo’s mission and growth trajectory. This role will directly manage recruitment performance across markets, strengthen partnerships with hiring managers, and drive measurable improvements in hiring efficiency, brand visibility, and workforce quality. A strong background in EMS and healthcare recruitment is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Supervise and coach a team of onsite recruiters ensuring high productivity, engagement, and adherence to KPIs.
- Foster a collaborative, performance-driven recruitment culture centered on efficiency, accountability, and candidate care.
- Provide professional development and support for recruiters to enhance sourcing skills, employer knowledge, and process literacy.
Talent Strategy & Partnership
- Partner with operational and business leaders to assess workforce planning needs and tailor recruitment strategies to market and department demands.
- Lead recruitment initiatives in EMS and healthcare hiring, including paramedics, EMTs, and clinical roles.
- Spearhead institutional partnerships (e.g., universities, vocational schools) to build sustainable pipelines.
Process Improvement & Technology Optimization
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the hiring process to ensure a consistent, efficient, and scalable approach.
- Optimize the use of ATS (Workday preferred), job boards, and recruitment tools to improve ROI and reduce time-to-fill.
- Provide data-driven insights and regular recruitment performance reports to leadership.
Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
- Develop and promote a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) in collaboration with marketing and leadership teams.
- Ensure all candidate interactions reflect a positive, inclusive, and professional experience aligned with company values.
- Assess and improve job postings, outreach strategies, and engagement content to boost talent attraction.
Cost Management & Workforce Integration
- Implement cost-mitigation strategies such as improved job board usage, targeted sourcing, and temporary-to-permanent conversions.
- Partner closely with the Extended Workforce team to identify agency-to-W2 conversion opportunities and support unified hiring strategies.
- Monitor recruiting expenses and sourcing effectiveness to maximize talent acquisition value.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, including at least 4 years in a management or lead recruiter role.
- Proven EMS, healthcare, or high-volume field-based recruitment experience is .
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Workday preferred.
- Familiarity with vendor management systems (VNDLY a plus) and contingent workforce strategies.
- Demonstrated experience improving and scaling recruitment processes in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Strong command of recruiting analytics and reporting to track hiring trends, recruiter performance, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across the organization.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Professional certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are desirable.
Other:
- Must be willing to travel as needed to support recruitment initiatives across various locations.
