Position Summary:

As an Operations Analyst for A. Duie Pyle, you will partner and work closely with the LTL Process improvement Team to help assist in organizational planning and development of reporting mechanisms using our data collection applications that will be utilized to assist and improve the business process within the organization.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Century System Project through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements
  • Conduct modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, business case development and other financial operational analysis with the use of data to help guide the organization's decision making with operations, customers or sales
  • Track, maintain and analyze current information on the operations Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Develop, organize and present detailed performance reports / tools for both internal and external use to help improve operational / organizational efficiency
  • Communicate changes, enhancements and modifications of business requirements - verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood
  • Partner with stakeholders across all business units to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, leadership and executive teams
  • Performs other duties as assigned

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills, and is able to work under pressure with attention to detail while maintaining a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with people at all levels of an organization
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, SQL and possesses the requisite ability to write reports using the various tools associated with these programs
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, and can work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to travel and work various shifts as needed
