Supply Chain Specialist

What you will do:

As our Supply Chain Specialist, you will assist the Operations Team with researching, evaluating, sourcing, and buying parts for manufacturing of our products. Materials purchased could range from wire, fasteners, electrical gear, and electrical components to supplies for maintenance and operations. This position will work in our Detroit Lakes, MN location.

The job:

Every day, your primary role will be to process purchase orders and confirm purchase order quantity, delivery, and price. You will track orders and investigate receiving issues. You will plan, order, and expedite all assigned materials needed to meet production requirements, thereby satisfying customer requirements. You will be responsible for vendor and materials management.

The skills you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have experience in purchasing/procurement of electronic products and parts in a manufacturing environment, be familiar with ERP systems, and have knowledge of operations and supply chain management. You must have exceptional communication and time management skills as well as excellent attention to detail. Three to five years of supply chain/purchasing experience is preferred.
