Job Description
Industrial Painting USA is a growing, reputable company that specializes in commercial and industrial painting projects throughout the United States. We are known for building strong, long-term relationships with our clients, setting us apart as a trusted industry leader.
We are currently seeking a skilled Sandblaster/Painter to join our team. This role involves preparing and painting a variety of industrial surfaces using abrasive blasting and industrial-grade coatings. Candidates must be flexible to work day or night shifts depending on project needs. Travel is expected, and applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by performing abrasive blasting (sandblasting, grit blasting, etc.) to remove rust, scale, and old coatings.
Apply industrial coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
Inspect surfaces to ensure proper preparation and finish.
Protect surrounding areas using masking or covering techniques.
Maintain and clean blasting and painting equipment.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work site.
Calculate materials needed for each job and minimize waste.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sandblasting, painting, or a similar industrial role.
Familiarity with blasting equipment and industrial painting techniques.
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear PPE as required.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and materials.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with surface prep standards such as SSPC/NACE.
Knowledge of epoxy, urethane, and high-performance coating systems.
Understanding of OSHA regulations and site safety best practices.
Certifications in blasting or industrial painting (preferred, not required).
