We are currently seeking a skilled Sandblaster/Painter to join our team. This role involves preparing and painting a variety of industrial surfaces using abrasive blasting and industrial-grade coatings. Candidates must be flexible to work day or night shifts depending on project needs. Travel is expected, and applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by performing abrasive blasting (sandblasting, grit blasting, etc.) to remove rust, scale, and old coatings.

• Apply industrial coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

• Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.

• Inspect surfaces to ensure proper preparation and finish.

• Protect surrounding areas using masking or covering techniques.

• Maintain and clean blasting and painting equipment.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work site.

• Calculate materials needed for each job and minimize waste.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sandblasting, painting, or a similar industrial role.

• Familiarity with blasting equipment and industrial painting techniques.

• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear PPE as required.

• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and materials.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with surface prep standards such as SSPC/NACE.

• Knowledge of epoxy, urethane, and high-performance coating systems.

• Understanding of OSHA regulations and site safety best practices.

• Certifications in blasting or industrial painting (preferred, not required).
