ABOUT THE ROLE
CountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Relationship Manager- Retail & Floorplan Finance to grow our business. This in-person role is in our Plano, TX office. This role is responsible for developing new and expanding existing relationships to grow our commercial lending business and assisting in growing our consumer lending business. As Relationship Manager- Retail & Floorplan Finance you will work directly with B2B customers to generate sales as well as maintain relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive floorplan sales for new and existing territories, both selling and maintaining the floorplan sales pipeline
- Develop new and expand personal property and mortgage retailer relationships and loan volume
- Develop emerging territories by scouting and onboarding new retailers
- Set up and remotely manage new accounts including initial and occasional future visits
- Maintain a stakeholder focus, meeting and exceeding service level commitments
- Collect all necessary documentation to complete the setup process
- Collect documentation and information to assist and support the underwriting process
- Consistent communication with key stakeholders (retailers, manufacturers and management)
- Attend trade shows including coordinating marketing materials and booth delivery and installation
- Assist in developing training for other departments
- Develop marketing flyer and trade show banner messaging
- Enhance and coordinate development of RSM and manufacturing relationships
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS, CAPABILITIES, & SKILLS:
- Broad knowledge and understanding of commercial credit, business financial statements, and financial analysis process
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people
- Effective decision-making, customer service, and problem-solving skill
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree required in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 3+ years of business development experience in the lending industry
