Description:

We're looking for an experienced cook to join our team on a per diem basis. This isn't a prep role - we need someone confident, experienced in batch cooking, and familiar with dietary needs in a healthcare setting.

If you've cooked in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and cook meals in large batches according to planned menus

• Follow modified texture diets (puree, mechanical soft, etc.)

• Ensure meals meet resident-specific dietary and nutritional needs

• Operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a cook in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting

• Familiarity with mechanical diets, pureed food, and dietary guidelines

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently

• High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary training a plus)
