Summary
Oversee performance of National Sales Agents by supervising daily workflow, managing turnaround times, call center operations, resolving escalated issues, coaching & guiding team members, providing updates to management to support achievement of department sales, quality, and productivity goals. Maintain a working knowledge of the sales agent role in order to support high volume times and assist with questions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage day to day sales operations including phone activities, workload/flow management, staffing, questions, and escalations to meet sales, service level/turnaround time and quality expectations.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of carriers and products in multiple states and systems
- Communicate, train and coach employees on carriers, products, systems and call handling
- Interview and hire staffing as needed
- Conduct regular coaching, performance and job progression discussions and coaching and disciple as needed
- Work with peers and management on continual improvement
- Contribute to continuous improvement by looking for and communicating ideas to improve process and systems
- Support implementation of process and technology changes by assisting in requirements, testing and training material
- Manage resolution of system and technology errors by identifying issues and quickly escalating to ensure continued and correct operations
