Job Summary:
The Service Technician for the Cabinet Division is responsible for providing responsive, high-quality customer service in the field through skilled warranty repair, inspection, and minor installations. This role supports both builder partners and homeowners by resolving issues related to product quality and installation. Depending on experience, technicians will be classified as Level I, II, or III.
Essential Functions:
- Perform basic repairs and touch-ups to cabinet installations
- Assist with minor cabinet installation tasks as needed
- Support logistics related to field installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience (minimum 1-3 years)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance (per state law)
- Previous experience in at least one trade (cabinetry preferred; tile, carpet, wood/LVP, countertops also valued)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for 8+ hours per day
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (materials, tools, equipment) as needed
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Work Environment:
- Primarily performed on active construction sites and occasionally in office settings
- Must be comfortable working in variable weather and construction conditions
