Job Description
The Global Clients Group ("GCG") provides solutions for investors across the Brookfield Asset Management organization. The GCG also manages institutional relationships and raises capital for Brookfield's various private funds and client accounts.
The Business Management Team is the team responsible for supporting the process, data, technology, finance, and operational needs of the Global Client Group. The Business Management Team's key focus areas include: (i) a dedicated technology and data team, (ii) a client operations team, (iii) strategic initiatives team (iv) a finance and business planning team and (v) a global coordinator team. The team will work with all of the functions across GCG as well as key stakeholders within technology and the Business Groups to deliver strategic and tactical solutions.
To deliver on this mandate, the focus of this role is the management and support of strategic initiatives and support the US Region Head and US Regional Manager. This will be done in partnership with stakeholders across GCG and the business groups (collectively, the "Stakeholders") to achieve fundraising and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and partner with the Regional Head and Regional Manager to design and execute all aspects of the regional Global Client Group business plan
Semi-annual bottoms-up analysis to identify white space and fundraising targets
Regional demand assessment and capital build for new and existing funds in market
Maximize fundraising roadshows and event effectiveness (developing target audience/invitees, informing scheduling matters, buildout of briefing packets/spotlights, ensuring most effective use of investment professionals' time)
Account planning
Responsible for territory assignments, account coverage and tiering is accurate in the Salesforce system
Competitor research and known LP investor analysis across other managers and funds; identify opportunities to displace peers
Assist in designing the regional business and manage execution of the plan via management of the regional weekly/bi-weekly meetings with Client Relationship Management ("CRM") team
Including data and reporting to support meetings and strategic discussion
Monitor Management reporting and fundraising KPIs to determine tracking to regional plan
Assist in executing on a stakeholder management strategy primarily with Fundraise Management, Marketing & Content, Client Relationship Management, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Finance & Operations and the Investment Teams and Product Specialists
Partner with the global fundraise management team to drive the fundraising lifecycle for Brookfield global investment strategies, customizing and implementing the fundraise strategy in the region and coordinating all stakeholder groups in delivering their respective roles throughout each stage of the fundraising lifecycle.
Working with Marketing, develop and provide key investor input for regional events and marketing plans
Execute on strategic investor initiatives for the region with CRMs and in support of the Region Head
In this role, the candidate also will:
Support project management and execution of strategic business initiatives and planning for new initiatives across GCG
Support GCG in enhancement of capital raising results through business planning, advanced data, reporting and analytics
Maintain customized, relevant, and dynamic dashboards and/or reports for sales teams and sales leadership
Create, analyze, and evolve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the associated reporting for the teams and individual roles
Utilize and integrate market data (Preqin, Pitchbook, etc.) to identify industry trends as well as recommendations for future opportunities across GCG
Help prepare materials for ad hoc projects, including developing focused analytics, conducting industry research, and preparing presentations
Translate complex data into business insights and recommendations
Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business management or another relevant discipline
~1-3 years of experience in financial services or technology fields
Knowledge and/ or experience with Salesforce and exporting and analyzing additional data sources
Experience with visualization and analytical tools including Power BI and Tableau a plus
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Excellent planning, organisational, and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments, considering multiple points of view and managing conflicts
Shares information with team members in a clear and concise manner
Able to develop a strong internal/external network
Proactively seeks opportunities to get involved in more challenging projects

Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education, and designations.
