Job Description

As Full-Time, Multi-School Teacher you will have the flexibility to choose when and where to work, the opportunity to work in a variety of schools and classrooms while making a positive impact on the lives of young children. Additionally, substitute teachers have more free time to take care of yourselves! You are not responsible for planning lessons, just implementing them or parent communication outside of the classroom. This is a great opportunity for people who like variety, and require a flexible schedule and LOVE working with youth!

Full-time

$17 - $25 an hour depending on experience.

Job Summary: To provide instruction in Adjunct.ly client classrooms in the absence of a teacher.

4 hour shifts available

8 hour shifts available

Self-determined schedule

Day shift

No nights

Essential Job Functions

Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age

Implementing developmentally appropriate activities

Managing behavior and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere

Communicating with other staff members

Collaborating with a team of early childhood professionals

Following pre-planned lesson plans

Being a positive role model for others

Qualifications:

Early Childhood Education or related degree or certification or in college working toward a degree in a related field.

Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education

Ability to work well in a team environment

Strong communication and organizational skills

Willingness to continuously learn and grow as an educator

Passion for working with young children

Experience working with young children in a classroom setting

Flexibility and willingness to work in various school settings

Professionalism

Arrive on-time and ready to work.

Develop and maintain productive, positive working relationships with students, families, staff and volunteers.

Perform all functions professionally, treating all students and families, staff and volunteers with respect.

Maintain a level of flexibility with all staff, offering assistance to others as appropriate.
